One of Nigeria’s Top Leading comic ats, Bovi Ugboma has revealed his heartwarming story of how he started from the bottom to get to where he is now.
Judging by what he shared, you can tell that his before life wasn’t a bed of roses. Talking on an interview with #MySuperStarStory, Bovi revealed that while he was relocating to Lagos, he had to squat with a uncle of his who was also a squatter at that time.
He recapped an experience Seven years ago of how he was billed to perform at a big comedy show but upon getting to the venue, he was told that he was not on the bill and he was not going to be allowed to perform in spite of the fact that he pleaded with them.
Speaking on how he achieved his level of success, he said the key was never giving up
“One thing people fail to realise is that they can achieve fame from their passion. It doesn’t have to be entertainment. I was tenacious, I was steadfast, I was hopeful and I was focused and I think that is what they need.”
